Product Description

Low headroom electric jib crane fixed to the wall 1 ton

1. Working radius and rotation angle:

Working radius: Usually between 2 meters and 5 meters (3-4 meters is common). The larger the radius, the geometric growth of the requirements for the wall, bracket and cantilever. When selecting, you need to carefully weigh the needs and feasibility.

Rotation angle:

180° is the most common: It covers the front semicircular area and meets the needs of most wall-mounted workstations.

2. Lifting method: mainly electric:

Electric chain hoist: It is the most mainstream choice (such as 1 ton or 0.5 ton chain hoist). It provides labor-saving operation and controllable speed (about 2-5 meters/minute), suitable for frequent lifting of 500kg materials. The structure is relatively compact.

Wire rope electric hoist: Selected when a larger lifting height (>10 meters) or faster speed is required, but the deadweight is larger, and the additional load on the cantilever and the bracket needs to be considered.

Manual hoist (less common): Only suitable for extremely infrequent operations. Lifting a 1000kg weight is time-consuming and laborious, not recommended.

3. Slewing drive mode:

Manual slewing (common but laborious): Relying on manpower to push the cantilever to rotate. Well-designed low-friction bearings are key. It takes a lot of force to push under a full load of 1000kg, which is suitable for infrequent operations or fixed workstations.

Electric slewing (recommended for frequent operations): Equipped with a dedicated slewing motor and reducer to achieve smooth and precise rotation controlled by buttons/remote control. Significantly improve efficiency and reduce operating intensity, especially when precise positioning or frequent steering is required. It is an ideal choice for the 1000kg level, but it will increase cost and complexity.

4. Application scenarios (medium and heavy wall operations):

Mold replacement, workpiece loading and unloading, and maintenance when heavy equipment (such as medium-sized machine tools, injection molding machines, and punching machines) is placed against the wall.

Assembly, inspection, and packaging of medium-sized components at the wall-side stations in the middle or end of the production line.

Sand boxes and medium-sized castings in the wall area of the foundry workshop.

Maintenance workshops disassemble and assemble components of large vehicles or equipment parked against the wall.

Transfer of medium-sized goods close to the wall in the warehouse loading and unloading area.

Any fixed station that needs to frequently and safely carry 1000kg and below materials next to a solid wall.

5. Higher safety requirements:

Overload protection (load limiter): Essential! Automatically cut off the lifting power when overloaded (usually >105% rated load).

Dual brake system (electric hoist): Main brake + auxiliary brake (such as disc brake) to ensure safety.

Upper and lower limit switches: Prevent the hoist from hitting the top or excessive lowering.

Emergency stop button: A must-have at the operation point.

Rotation limit and buffer: Mechanical stops limit the rotation range, and optional buffers reduce impact.

Structural safety factor: The design complies with standards such as GB/T 3811, with sufficient safety margin.

Regular inspection: Regular inspection and load testing are carried out according to local regulations (usually rated lifting capacity ≥1 ton is included in the supervision, but 1000kg should also be implemented as a reference).

Operation training: Operators need training to understand equipment limitations and safety regulations.
