Product Description

Wall Mounted Jib Crane With Electric Hoist Free Standing Low clearance 2000kg

1. Core goal: heavy lifting under extreme space constraints (but at a huge cost)

The only advantage: theoretically "zero" ground occupation, 2 tons of lifting capacity "hanging" on the wall.

Extremely narrow application scenarios: It can only be considered when all the following conditions are met:

The workstation must be close to an extremely strong wall/structure.

There is absolutely no ground space for installing column-type cantilever cranes, small bridge cranes or gantry cranes (even a small foundation is not allowed).

Bridge cranes or suspension cranes cannot be installed in the upper space.

The weight of the hoisted object is stable at or below 2 tons, and the shape and size are suitable.

The budget is very sufficient to bear the high cost of wall reinforcement, professional design and installation.

Willing to accept risks and implementation complexity far higher than other solutions.

2. The requirements for walls/support structures reach "abnormal level":

This is the key to determining the survival of the project, and it is also the biggest difficulty and risk point.

Wall type:

The only reliable choice: thick reinforced concrete shear wall (thickness usually needs to be ≥400mm-600mm or even thicker) or heavy steel structure column/column solid web wall.

Absolutely unacceptable: any form of brick wall (not even solid brick), block wall, lightweight partition wall, non-load-bearing wall.

Structural assessment: extremely detailed calculations and on-site inspections must be performed by top structural engineers to accurately assess the bending, shear, torsion resistance and overall stability of the wall. All working conditions such as static loads, dynamic loads (starting and braking), eccentric loads, wind loads (if any) need to be considered.

Large-scale reinforcement: large-scale, high-strength local reinforcement is almost inevitable, and the solutions may include (but are not limited to):

Add huge reinforced concrete buttresses or support frames on the back of the wall.

Install giant steel beams (back tension beams) through both sides of the wall.

Cast ultra-thick concrete piers in the installation area and reliably connect them to the original wall.

Use extra-thick, large-area, specially designed steel plates as pads for the corbels to disperse the huge concentrated forces.

The reinforcement project itself may be equivalent to a small civil engineering project.

Anchoring system:

The highest grade, extra-large specification through bolts (pre-buried or post-expanded) or specially designed heavy shear keys + grouting systems must be used.

The number of bolts is large, the spacing is dense, and the anchoring depth is extremely deep (far exceeding the 500kg level).

The installation accuracy requirements are extremely high.

3. The structure is extremely large and bulky:

Corbel bracket: It is no longer a simple bracket, but a large, complex, heavy welded steel structure, whose size and weight are comparable to the base of a small equipment. It needs to withstand huge bending moments, shear forces, and torques.

Cantilever beam: Large box beams or heavy composite beams (such as double-jointed large I-beams with gussets) must be used, with extremely high bending and torsional stiffness to ensure minimal deformation under a 2-ton load.

Slewing mechanism: It needs to be equipped with an oversized, high-load-carrying slewing bearing (such as a cross roller bearing with a huge diameter) that can withstand the huge overturning moment and slewing resistance generated by a 2-ton load. The mechanism itself is very bulky.

4. The working radius and slewing angle are severely limited:

Working radius: In order to minimize the overturning moment and reduce the burden on the wall, the working radius is usually strictly limited (for example, ≤ 3 meters, or even shorter). If the radius increases slightly, the overturning moment and wall requirements will increase exponentially.

Slewing angle: Usually limited to 180° (front semicircle). It is extremely difficult to achieve a 270° rotation (the wall needs to be extremely strong in the side direction), and a 360° rotation is basically impossible on a 2-ton wall type (it is structurally impossible to achieve reliable 360° support and anti-overturning).
