1. The cantilever can rotate (usually 360°):
The cantilever can rotate horizontally around the column, and the coverage range is usually a complete 360° circular area (after moving into place), which is extremely flexible.
The rotation method is mostly manual push (easier when light load), and some models can be equipped with electric rotation (increased cost).
2. Lifting method: manual and electric coexist
Manual chain hoist: The most economical and lightweight choice. No power supply requirements, simple maintenance. Suitable for occasions with frequent movement but not particularly frequent lifting operations or low speed requirements. 125kg manual lifting is an acceptable labor intensity for the operator.
Light electric chain hoist: More labor-saving and faster lifting (about 3-8 meters/minute), suitable for workstations that require frequent lifting. Power supply solutions need to be considered:
Drag cable: Connect to the fixed power socket in the workshop (the range of movement is limited by the cable length and the socket position).
Battery pack: Integrated rechargeable battery pack, providing true wireless freedom of movement, is an ideal companion for mobile electric hoists, but increases cost and weight.
3. Moderate working radius:
The effective working radius is usually between 2 meters and 4 meters (common 2.5-3 meters). The larger the radius, the higher the requirements for base stability and counterweight.
4. Application scenarios (light operations requiring mobility):
Provide cyclic or on-demand material lifting services for multiple adjacent workstations (such as assembly lines, maintenance stations, and test stations).
Workshop logistics transfer point: Transfer light materials between warehouses and production lines, and between different equipment groups.
Equipment maintenance and installation: Used for mobile maintenance, disassembly and assembly of equipment components.
Temporary tasks: Exhibition construction, temporary work areas, short-term projects.
Workshops with limited space and cannot install fixed lifting equipment for each workstation.
Occasions where fixed obstacles need to be avoided or the best lifting point needs to be found.
5. Safety design (special attention should be paid to mobile equipment):
Counterweight: The core foundation of safety, must be fully installed.
Caster lock: Before operation, you must 100% confirm that all caster brakes are completely locked!
Overload protection (electric hoist): Usually built-in.
Structural stability: Designed to ensure stability in mobile state (no load) and operating state (loaded).
Mechanical stop: Limit the cantilever rotation range (optional).
Warning signs: Clearly indicate the rated load, maximum working radius, counterweight requirements, and operating precautions.
Emergency stop device (electric): Essential.
Sound and light alarm (optional): Alert surrounding personnel when moving.
6. Easy operation:
Movement: Manual push (make sure the passage is unobstructed and the ground is flat).
Positioning: Push to the target position and lock all caster brakes.
Hoisting: Pull the hand chain for a manual hoist, or press the button for an electric hoist.
Rotate: Manually jog the arm to the desired angle.
