Wall Mounted Jib Crane With Electric Hoist Free Standing 500kg
1. Core advantage: liberating ground space
"Wall-mounted" design: All loads and overturning moments are borne by solid walls or structural columns, which does not occupy ground space at all, and the passage below is unobstructed. This is its most fundamental advantage over the column type.
2. Significantly improved load-bearing capacity:
Rated load of 500kg, it can easily carry workpieces, molds, equipment parts, medium-sized packaging boxes, raw material bundles, etc. weighing more than 125kg to half a ton, with a wider range of applications.
3. Greatly improved structural strength requirements:
Cantilever beam: Use thicker and larger-section I-beams (such as I20a, I22a) or special box beams to ensure minimal deformation under a full load of 500kg, and the rigidity requirements are much higher than the 125kg model.
Corbel bracket: It is a key component for load bearing and must be extremely strong. It usually adopts a heavy steel plate welded structure, which is designed to withstand huge bending moments, shear forces and torques. Its size and structural complexity far exceed the light model.
Slewing mechanism: A larger and more durable slewing bearing (such as a cross roller bearing) or a heavy-duty roller/roller bearing system is required to withstand the overturning moment and slewing resistance generated by a 500kg load.
4. Extremely stringent requirements for the wall/support structure:
This is the first prerequisite and the biggest challenge for the successful application of a 500kg wall crane!
Wall type: It must be a structure with extremely strong load-bearing capacity:
High-grade reinforced concrete wall (thickness usually needs to be ≥250mm-300mm, specific calculation required).
Solid heavy block wall (professional evaluation is required, usually not as reliable as concrete wall).
The first and most reliable choice is the factory's steel structure column or solid concrete column/shear wall.
Absolutely prohibited: hollow brick walls, lightweight partition walls, gypsum board walls, non-load-bearing walls in brick-concrete structures, etc.
Professional evaluation and reinforcement: The wall/structure at the intended installation location must be calculated and evaluated in detail by a registered structural engineer. Usually, local reinforcement is required in advance (such as adding concrete piers, steel plate pads, through beams or back support frames), and a special anchoring solution is designed.
Anchors: Use high-strength chemical anchors (meeting the requirements of the specifications, with sufficient depth and spacing) or through bolts (more reliable, but with requirements on both sides of the wall), and the specifications and quantity are determined by calculation.
