1. Redundancy of safety system is further strengthened:

Dual brake system (standard and strengthened):

Main brake: Large-size, high-performance disc brake (hydraulic or electromagnetic drive), braking torque precisely matches 16 tons of load inertia.

Auxiliary brake: Built-in large torque electromagnetic brake (normally closed) at the motor end, double insurance.

Overload protection (standard electronic type is strongly recommended):

High-precision electronic weighing sensor is integrated in the hook or fixed pulley block, real-time display of load (accuracy ±1%), automatic cutting off of lifting action and alarm when overloaded. Mechanical overload limiter is not reliable enough at this tonnage.

Multiple limit protection:

Heavy-duty upper and lower limit switches: Use more robust mechanical or non-contact (proximity switch/encoder) limit, impact resistance, high repeatability.

Anti-loose rope protection: Prevent excessive slack of wire rope when no load causes rope disorder.

Wire rope anti-slip device: The drum and pulley are equipped with heavy-duty rope baffles or rope pressing devices to ensure that the wire rope never slips out of the groove.

Emergency power off switch: Large-capacity, easy-to-reach emergency stop button.

Protection level: At least IP55, with more stringent protection (dust and water spray).

 

2. Efficient operation and controllability:

Frequency conversion control (almost standard):

Necessity highlights: The start-stop inertia of 16 tons of load is huge, and the frequency converter achieves extremely smooth acceleration and deceleration, effectively suppresses load shaking (safety-critical!), and protects the mechanical structure.

Precise micro-speed: Provides stable low-speed operation, which is convenient for precise alignment and installation of heavy workpieces.

Optional dual-speed/stepless speed regulation.

Lifting speed: Full load speed is usually 4.0/0.66 m/min, and no-load speed can be faster. Frequency conversion control can achieve speed regulation.
